Catching a firefly squid in Animal Crossing isn't as hard as it sounds! You gotta make sure it's the right time of year though - they're available from March to June if you're in the Northern Hemisphere. Make sure it's between 9 PM and 4 AM in your game. Find a spot on your beach and look for a small shadow in the water; that's your cue to cast your fishing rod. Be patient, and soon you'll have your very own firefly squid!

Just fish at night, honestly. Those little glowing squids ain't picky, just rare. March to June, night time is the right time.

It's all about timing and luck! I spent countless nights on my beach before I finally caught my Firefly Squid. Don't give up, and make sure you're fishing during the late hours!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
