Ain't nobody got time for that. Just go to someone else's island where it's the right season for killifish. Much easier.

Caught my first killifish last night! These little buggers are more elusive than I thought. Had to spend hours by the pond with my fishing rod. But let me tell you, the satisfaction of finally catching it? Priceless. Remember, patience is key!

Catching a killifish in Animal Crossing is super chill! First, you gotta make sure it's between April and August if you're in the Northern Hemisphere or October to February in the Southern Hemisphere because that's when these tiny guys like to show up. Look for them in the rivers and ponds; they're small fish, so keep an eye out for the little shadows. Equip your fishing rod, and when you see a small shadow in the water, cast your line near it. Be patient, wait for the fish to bite, and as soon as it does, press the button to reel it in. Voila, you might have just caught yourself a killifish!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
