Just play at night! Seriously, I caught like 3 in a row just fishing after 9 PM. Seems easier than during the day.

Catching a piranha in Animal Crossing isn't too hard once you know when and where to look! Piranhas can be found swimming in the rivers of your island, so keep your fishing rod ready. The key is to fish during their active hours, from 9 AM to 4 PM and then again from 9 PM to 4 AM. They're around from June to September in the Northern Hemisphere and from December to March in the Southern Hemisphere. Look for a medium-sized fish shadow in the river and start fishing! Good luck, and hope you catch this feisty fish!

Honestly, piranhas are more trouble than they're worth. I mean, they look cool but so many other fish to catch that don't have such a weird schedule.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
