Catching a shark in Animal Crossing: Wild World is all about timing and patience! First, look for a large fish shadow with a fin sticking out of the water; that's your shark. Make sure to cast your line so the bobber lands in front of the shark's trajectory. The tricky part is the timing - sharks are quick to bite but also quick to flee. Wait for the shark to bite down (you'll see the bobber completely submerge) then immediately press the button. It might take a few tries, but keep at it!

Just wait for the shadow with the fin and press A when it bites. Easier said than done, I know!

Honestly, catching sharks is overrated. Focus on the bugs, way more chill.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
