Just run at them and swing your net. Works every time... if you don't mind getting bitten a couple of times first. Seriously, they faint you.

Catching a tarantula in ACNH is all about timing and patience. First, these creepy crawlies only appear from November to April (for the Northern Hemisphere) or May to October (for the Southern Hemisphere), and only after 7 PM. You'll want to equip your net, but don't run directly at them! Tarantulas get aggressive if you approach too fast. Sneak up by holding A to ready your net and inch forward. When it raises its front legs in defense, stop moving. Once it lowers them, creep closer. When in range, release A to catch it!

Honestly, it's easier to just visit a mystery island dedicated to tarantulas. Clear out all the trees, rocks, and flowers and they'll spawn like crazy. Then, it's catching time!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
