Catching balloons in Animal Crossing is a breeze! Just keep an eye on the sky. When you see a balloon floating by, equip your slingshot and aim upwards. Wait for the balloon to be directly overhead, then fire away! The present will drop right where the balloon was, so make sure you're not standing over water or flowers you don't wanna crush.

Aiming tip: Balloons usually drift with the wind, so aim a bit ahead if it's breezy. You'll get the hang of it after a few tries. Happy hunting!

Make sure you always carry a slingshot! Balloons can appear anytime, and they sometimes carry exclusive items. I missed a seasonal DIY recipe because I didn't have my slingshot on me. Never making that mistake again.

lol just shoot them down with a slingshot. If you miss, you're aiming wrong.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
