I missed every single balloon until I realized my volume was off. You actually hear them before seeing them most of the time. Turn up your sound!

Catching floating presents in Animal Crossing is like a mini celebration on its own! All you need is a slingshot. Wait for a shadow of the present to pass over you, aim your slingshot up in the air, and fire! If your aim is true, you'll knock that present right out of the sky and it'll drop to the ground, ready for you to unwrap the surprise inside. Make sure you're not standing directly under it, or it might land on you, which is not as fun as it sounds.

Pro tip: if you see a shadow but no balloon, you're either too early or too late! Timing is everything; keep your eyes on the skies and listen for the gentle whoosh of balloons.

Honestly? Just build a giant net. Kidding. You need a slingshot. Anything else is just wishful thinking.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
