Catching sharks in Animal Crossing is all about timing and patience! First up, you'll wanna look for big fish shadows with fins sticking out of the water. These are your shark friends! Now, timing is key - wait for the shark to bite down hard (you'll see a big splash) then hit that button as fast as you can. Make sure your sound is on; the sound cue helps a LOT. Sharks usually show up more during summer months in the game, so keep an eye on the calendar!

Just throw your line out and hope for the best. Honestly, it's how I do it and somehow, it works. Sharks aren't as tricky as they seem, just look for the fin and be patient!

Sharks? Easy peasy. Nighttime and early morning during summer. That's your golden window. Ignore everything else, it's all about the timing and large shadows with fins. If you're not fishing then, you're wasting your time.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
