Catching turtles in Animal Crossing is pretty chill. First, make sure you're fishing in the right season; turtles appear in the game from April to August. Then, find a shadow in the rivers that looks bigger than usual - that’s your cue! Turtles won’t bite on tiny shadows. Cast your line and wait for the bite. Patience is key, my friend. Happy fishing!

Just fish in rivers during evening or night from April to August. That's literally it. Big shadows are your friends.

Honestly, catching turtles is overrated. Spend your time fishing for rarer fish or diving for sea creatures instead. More bells for your buck!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
