You gotta be an admin to do this. Once you're in the group, click 'More' > 'Edit Group Settings,' and then edit the name field. Save and done!
Heads up! Only admins can rename a group. Click on 'More' > 'Edit Group Settings,' find the name field, type the new name, and save!
Just became an admin recently and did this! Click 'More' on your group page, select 'Edit Group Settings,' and then simply change the name. Don't forget to save it.
