To change your PS4 gamertag, head to Settings, then Account Management, and finally Account Information. Select Profile, then Online ID, and follow the prompts. You'll have to re-enter your password and maybe pay a fee if it's not your first change.

Open the PlayStation website on your computer, log in, go to your profile, and click on 'Edit' next to your Online ID. It's super easy and you can avoid doing it on the console.

I changed my PS4 gamertag last week. You'll just need to navigate to Account Management in Settings, then find Profile and Online ID. It's a straightforward process. Make sure to check the compatibility of your old games with the new ID.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
