Pro tip: You can't directly change the difficulty, but you can bring over items from another world to make things easier (or harder) if you want a different experience without losing progress.

To change a world's difficulty in Terraria, you actually gotta make a new world with your desired difficulty setting. Terraria locks in the difficulty when you create the world, so no mid-game switches. But hey, a fresh start can be a new adventure!

You're stuck with it, friend. The difficulty is set when you create your world. Next time, choose wisely!

Just start over, you can't change the difficulty of a world you've already made. Consider it a reason to try new strategies from the get-go!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
