You can't actually change ammo types manually in The Division 2. Instead, you'll occasionally get special ammo drops like explosive or incendiary rounds from enemies or crates. These add some spicy flavor to your weapons automatically when picked up!

You can't change ammo types in The Division 2. Random drops make it interesting!

You can't select different ammo types directly. The game gives you special rounds like shock or explosive randomly as loot. Just keep an eye out during missions.
