First, isolate y on one side of the equation. Once you've got y by itself, rearrange the terms to get y=mx+b!

From my homework grind days: move all x-terms to the other side, then divide by the coefficient of y.

Just get y alone on one side of the equation. Voila, slope-intercept form!

Take the equation, solve for y, then make sure it looks like y=mx+b. Simple as that!
