Super easy! Just open the PDA, go to the inventory, and select the item you want to change the battery for. Then, press the R1 button to exchange the depleted battery for a fresh one.

Simple! Select the tool you want to recharge, press square to access its options, then choose 'Switch Battery' and pop in a new one. Happy diving!
