To change battles to debug mode in Undertale, you need to edit a game file. Locate 'data.win' in the game folder, open it with a hex editor, and search for the string 'DF D7 DF D8 DF 00 00 00'. Replace it with 'DF D7 DF D8 DF 01 00 00'. Save the file, and voila! Debug mode activated.

Okay, it's a little tricky, but totally worth it! Head to your Undertale game directory, find 'data.win', and open it with a hex editor like HxD. Then, switch the bytes '202 CF 86 55' to '202 CF A6 55'. Boom, welcome to debug mode!

I've done it before! You'll need a hex editor. Change the bytes in 'data.win' from 'DF D7 00 00' to 'DF D7 01 00'. It unlocks all sorts of fun things!
