Changing the brightness on your Steam Deck in Desktop Mode is pretty straightforward. Just tap the battery icon in the top right corner of your screen, and you'll find the brightness slider right there. Adjust it to your liking, and you're all set to game on with the perfect lighting!

Just go to the display settings in the system menu. Once you鈥檙e there, you should see a slider for adjusting the brightness. Easy peasy.

Honestly, just keep it at max brightness. Makes everything look better and you won't miss any details in those darker game scenes.

I usually just adjust the brightness directly from the quick settings menu. It's super fast and I don't have to interrupt my game too much.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
