Sorry to burst your bubble, but you can't change characters (or agents, as they're called in Valorant) mid-game. You choose your agent at the start of a match, and you're locked in with that choice until the game ends. So, make sure you pick someone you really want to play as before the match starts!
Choosing wisely is key because once the match starts, you and your chosen agent are in it for the long haul together.
