Hot take - why even bother changing the chat button? Just use the default settings and focus on your gameplay. Learning the defaults might even improve your reaction time since you don’t have to think about what key to press!

Changing the chat button in Valorant is pretty simple! Just open the game, head to the 'Settings' menu, and click on 'Controls'. From there, navigate to the 'Communication' tab. You should see the 'Chat' option. Click on the key currently assigned to it and press the key you want to assign to chat. Boom, done! Remember to save your changes before exiting.

I changed my chat button to something easier for me since I found myself struggling with the default settings during intense moments. It's a game changer, honestly. Just follow the steps in the settings menu, and you're golden. Made communicating with my team a lot smoother without having to fumble around.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
