In Rise of Kingdoms, click your avatar -> Settings -> Character Management. Use the free Civilization Change item early on or spend 10,000 Gems for a new one.

Easy peasy! Tap your profile picture, go to Settings, and then use a Civilization Change item. You can get one for free early in the game or buy it with Gems later!

Just buy a Civilization Change item with Gems, then head over to your Settings to use it. Voilá, new civ!

You can change civilizations by using a Civilization Change item from the Settings menu. It's free at the beginning but costs Gems later.
