Changing the cover of your Spotify playlist is easy! On your desktop app, just go to your playlist, click the three dots, select 'Edit Details,' and click on the current image to upload a new one. Done and done!
On my mobile app, I just tap the playlist, hit 'Edit Playlist,' and then change the cover pic by tapping on it. Super simple!
You don't actually need a desktop to change the playlist cover. Just use your phone, tap on the playlist, and select 'Edit Playlist.' Boom!
