How to change custom skin template in War Thunder
Take it from me – all you really need is to hit 'Create a new skin' under the Customization tab, mess around with the template in Photoshop or any other editor, and then save it in UserSkins. You'll see it in the game after!

To change your custom skin in War Thunder, you need to go to the 'Customization' tab of the vehicle you want to edit. There, click on the 'Create a new skin' button, which will generate a template file you can edit in a graphics program. Once you're done, save it in the UserSkins folder and it should show up in-game!
Create a new skin in the vehicle customization menu and edit the files it generates. Save it back to UserSkins. Done!
Easy peasy! Just find the vehicle you want to change, hit 'Customization', and then 'Create a new skin'. Edit the generated files in your favorite image editor and save it back in the UserSkins folder.
