You can't actually adjust the difficulty in Xenoblade Chronicles X once you've started the game, it's a one-and-done setting. Good luck!

Honestly, the game isn't that hard once you get the hang of it. Maybe just try leveling up a bit more if you're struggling.

Go to the in-game menu, select 'Settings', and then find the 'Battle' tab. From there, you can adjust the difficulty level back to your liking.
