Hey there! To change the DVD region on your PS3, all you need to do is insert the DVD you want to play. The console will prompt you to change the region if it's different from your default. Remember, you can only change the region a limited number of times!

Alright, here's the deal: Unfortunately, the PS3 only lets you change the DVD region a handful of times (like, up to 4 or 5). After that, it's locked! So, make those changes count!

You can't. Once you hit the limit of allowed region changes (usually 4-5 times), your PS3 locks that region in place permanently.

From my personal experience, you can change the region for DVDs on your PS3 by inserting a DVD of the new region and following the on-screen prompts. Just keep in mind, you get around 4 or 5 changes before it sticks for good!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
