Changing Valorant's file location is like telling your cat to sit; it's a bit of a process but totally doable. First, you gotta close the Valorant and Riot Client. Then, move the entire Valorant folder to your desired location. After that, attempt to launch the game. The Riot Client will throw a fit and 'can't find the game', but here's where you show it who's boss by pointing it to the new location. Presto, you're done! Just keep in mind that moving files around can sometimes cause unexpected issues, so proceed with caution and maybe have a backup just in case.

Moved Valorant to my SSD last month, and it was the best decision ever! Game loads faster, and it was super easy. Just make sure to update the Riot Client with the new file path, or it'll have a meltdown trying to find the game.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
