You gotta change your Display Name on the Epic Games website. Sign in, go to Account Settings, and voila, new name!

Easy peasy! Just head to epicgames.com, log into your account, and change your Display Name under Account Settings. It'll update in Fortnite too!

First-hand experience here: I just did this last week. Go to Epic Games' site, log in, find Account Settings, and update your Display Name. Simple!
