You can use the Epic Games Launcher to change some Fortnite settings without opening the game! Just go to Library, click the three dots next to Fortnite, and select Options. Adjust your settings there!

Edit the GameUserSettings.ini file! Go to C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\FortniteGame\Saved\Config\WindowsClient and open the GameUserSettings.ini file. Make sure to back it up first!

Honestly, the easiest way is just to open the game and change the settings there. It's way less hassle.
