Changing the FPS cap in Apex Legends isn't in the in-game settings, you gotta tweak a file. Go to your game folder, then find the 'cfg' folder. Look for a file named 'videoconfig.txt'. Open it with a notepad, and find the line that says '"setting.max_fps" "XXX"', where 'XXX' is your current FPS cap. Change 'XXX' to whatever cap you want, save, and boom! Higher or lower FPS, your choice.

No need to mess with game files. Just use the in-game command line. Launch Apex, open settings, and find the 'Game Properties' tab. There, in the 'Advanced Launch Options', you can add '+fps_max 200' (or any number you prefer) to set your FPS cap. Easy and no file editing needed!
