Actually, the best way to adjust the FPS cap isn't through the in-game settings. Open Steam, right-click Apex Legends in your library, and select 'Properties'. Then head to 'Set Launch Options' and type in '+fps_max #' - replace the # with your desired FPS. Bam! Custom FPS limit set.

I've been playing Apex on Steam for ages and never bothered changing the FPS cap. The default settings work fine. Why fix what isn't broken, right?

Changing the FPS cap in Apex Legends on Steam? Easy peasy! Just open the game, go to the 'Settings' menu, and look under 'Video'. There you'll find an option to set a max FPS limit. If the game's running too smooth and you need a challenge, lower that cap. If you're all about that buttery smooth gameplay, crank it up! Remember, it all depends on how beefy your rig is.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
