To change your gold value in a cracked version of Undertale, you'll need to locate and edit your save file. Usually, the file is called 'file0' and is in the game's data folder. Open it with a text editor, find the line that has your gold value, and change it to whatever number you want. Save the file, and voilà, you’re rich!

Editing the 'file0' in your save directory always did the trick for me. Search for your current gold amount in the file and change it to whatever you desire.

Just play the game the way it’s meant to be played; that’s the real fun! Changing gold values might ruin the experience.

You can use a program like Cheat Engine to modify the gold value while the game is running. Just scan for your current gold amount, narrow down the results by spending or gaining gold, and then change the value.
