Trainers, the only way to change gyms is to battle! Knock out the opposing team's Pokémon, and then place yours when it turns neutral.

To change gyms in Pokémon GO, just find a gym of the team you want to join and interact with it. If you see an open slot or if the gym is under attack, you can contribute your Pokémon to claim it!

You can't really change the gym itself, but you can try to take down an opposing gym with your strongest Pokémon and then place your own in it once it's defeated.

I've managed to flip a gym by teaming up with friends. We coordinated attacks to take it over, then assigned our Pokémon once it was ours. Teamwork works wonders!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
