Sadly, you can't change the island representative in Animal Crossing: New Horizons after you've set it up. The island rep is the first player who started the game on the Nintendo Switch. If you really need to change it, your only option is to delete the island and start over, which means saying goodbye to all your progress. Think carefully if it's worth it!

Nope, you're stuck with your choice. The only way to change the island rep in Animal Crossing is to completely reset your game. Tough decision, so hope you like your original rep!

Been there, tried that. Wanted my brother to take over as island rep because he's way more into landscaping. Found out the hard way you have to erase your whole island to make that switch. Not worth it IMO, just learned to live with it and negotiate for more playtime to get my island looking nice.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
