To change the leader in Hay Day, the current leader needs to promote another member. Tap on the member's name, then select 'Promote to Leader.' Voila, leadership transferred!

It's simple: the current leader has to tap on the person they want to promote and select the 'Promote to Leader' option. Done and dusted!
