Honestly, I never had to change anything. Helldivers just used my headset mic once it was plugged in. Might depend on your setup though.

Changing your mic in Helldivers is pretty straightforward if you're on PC. First, right-click the speaker icon in your taskbar and select 'Sounds.' Then, go to the 'Recording' tab, find the microphone you want to use, and set it as the default device. Most times, Helldivers will pick up the default device set in your system settings. If you're on PlayStation, go to Settings > Devices > Audio Devices and select the input device you want to use. Always make sure your desired mic is connected before starting the game!
Just plug in the mic you wanna use and make it the default in your system settings. Helldivers isn't picky; it uses whatever your system's set to use.
