Update it through the settings under 'Contact Information'. Super simple.
I did this last week. Head to Settings > Personal Information > Contact Info, add your new email, and remove the old one once it's confirmed!
Easy peasy! Just go to your Facebook settings, click on 'Contact', and then add your new email address. Once you've added it, make it primary and remove the old one if you want.
