How to Change My Name in Splatoon 2
To change your name in Splatoon 2, you need to update your Nintendo Switch user profile name. Go to System Settings, navigate to Users, and then select your profile to change your username. Once updated, your new name will appear in the game.

I recently changed mine! Just go to the Switch settings, not the game, and update your user profile name there.
Just head over to your Switch settings, find the user profile section, and edit your name there鈥擲platoon 2 will automatically update it!
You can't change it directly in Splatoon 2; do it on your Switch profile settings instead.
