You can change it from the PlayStation App too! Open the app, tap on your profile icon, then on 'Edit Profile.' Change your Online ID there.

Super easy! Just go to the settings on your PS4 or PS5, pick Account Management, then hit Account Information. From there, choose Profile and finally Online ID. Follow the instructions, and boom, new name!

Don't forget, some games might not support Online ID changes. I had an issue with an older game once. Check compatibility first!
