Just DMZ your Switch's IP in your router settings. It's like giving your Switch VIP access to the internet without any bouncers checking IDs.

Get a better internet provider. Hot take, but sometimes you just need to upgrade to get that sweet, sweet OPEN NAT.

Hit up your router's settings, enable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play), and it should help improve your NAT type for Smash.

To change your NAT type, you'll need to dive into your router's settings. Find the port forwarding options and set a static IP for your Switch. Forward ports 1-65535 to that IP. Voila, better connection!

I fiddled with port forwarding, but enabling UPnP in my router settings did the trick for me! Now my Smash Bros. matches are way smoother.

...you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

This includes gift cards from all your favorite brands, like Amazon, Starbucks, Apple, Roblox, and many, many more!

In case you're wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying ads) and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
