lol just wait for a villager to think they're a genius and suggest a new nickname for you. You can either go with what they come up with or throw your own idea into the ring.

Changing your nickname in Animal Crossing is a piece of cake! All you need is a bit of patience. Wait until a villager comes up to you with a lightbulb over their head, indicating they've got an idea. They'll ask if they can call you by a new nickname. You can accept their suggestion or choose 'Suggest your own' to input whatever nickname you fancy!

Actually, I tried changing my nickname by talking to all my villagers every day, and one of them finally suggested changing it. It's kinda random, but being active and chatting with your island friends speeds things up.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
