Honestly, it's easier to just build a new house where you want the NPC and then assign them there using the housing interface. I've done it a dozen times when my villages start getting crowded.

Just kick 'em out and move 'em into a new place! Open the housing menu, click the NPC's face and then click the house where you want them to live. Can't get simpler.

Changing NPC houses in Terraria is all about location, location, location! First, make sure the house is suitable (walls, lighting, furniture, etc.). Then, go to your inventory screen and select the housing icon. Click on the NPC's banner you want to move and then click on the empty, suitable house you want them to move into. Voila! Your NPC has a new home!

I don't bother changing their houses. As long as they have a roof over their heads, they're fine wherever they are. Why fix what isn't broken?

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
