To change pitches in MLB The Show 23, go to the player card in the main menu, then edit the pitch repertoire within the 'Edit Player' menu. Make sure you're in Franchise or Road to the Show mode!

You can't change pitches mid-game, but outside of games, head to the player customization screen in Franchise or RTTS to update their pitch types.
Hot take: Just focus on mastering the pitches you have. Changing them isn't that crucial.
From personal experience, it's a breeze in Franchise mode. Just navigate to your player's card, hit 'Edit Player,' and swap those pitches!
