Just head to Settings, then Network, and Set Up Internet Connection. Pick your Wi-Fi and make sure it's on the 5GHz band!

First-hand experience here! I had this issue too. In your PS5 settings, go to Network, then Set Up Internet Connection, and connect to your Wi-Fi. Make sure to select the 5GHz band if your router supports both frequencies. This significantly improved my download speeds!

Just use an Ethernet cable; wired is always better!

Go to Settings > Network > Settings > Set Up Internet Connection. Choose your Wi-Fi network, and if it supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, select the 5GHz option. You're good to go!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
