Unfortunately, you can't change the region or country on your existing PSN account. But, you can create a new account with the desired location. Just remember, you'll need a different email for the new account and you'll lose access to content tied to the old region.

First-hand experience here: I had to set up a new PSN account when I moved countries. It was straightforward鈥攋ust use a new email and pick your new region during setup. Keep in mind, any purchased content on your old account won't transfer over.

You have to create a new PSN account with the new location you want. Sony doesn't allow you to change the region on an existing account. It's a bit of a hassle, but there's no other way around it.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
