Log into your PS4 or PS5, go to the settings, select Account Management, then Account Information, and finally Profile. There you can change your Online ID. Easy peasy!

Changing your PSN name can mess with some of your older game saves. Make sure to read the warnings before hitting that confirm button.

You can change your PSN name through the PlayStation Network website too. Just sign in, go to the PSN Profile section, and click Edit on your Online ID.
