You don't actually have control over the night mode in PUBG Mobile. It's randomly activated on certain maps, so it's all up to chance!

Trust me, I've played a ton and there's no option to change to night mode. Just gotta keep playing till it comes up!

Sorry to break it to you, but you can't manually switch to night mode in PUBG Mobile. It's randomly assigned when you start a match.
