You can't change race mid-game but you can swap from Inkling to Octoling when starting a new save. So go make a new file if you want to switch it up!

In Splatoon 3, switching between being an Inkling or an Octoling is an option you get right from the start. Just head back to the player customization settings and swap to your heart's content!
