Easy-peasy! Just go to the main menu, select 'Options', then 'Video', and you can change the resolution settings from there. Happy zombie-slaying!
Honestly, I found it easiest to just change the resolution right from the in-game settings menu under Options > Video.
Pro tip: If you're on PC, you can also tweak the resolution settings in the game's config file if needed. But seriously, just use the in-game menu.
Why change resolution? Zombie apocalypses look good in any resolution. But if you must, Options > Video menu is your friend.
