In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, you can't directly change your skin color through an in-game menu like you can in New Horizons. Your skin tone changes based on how much sun you get - so if you want a darker tone, spend more time outside during sunny days. For a lighter tone, avoid the sun and stay indoors!

Sadly, you can't just select your skin color from a menu in New Leaf. Tanning by spending time in the sun is your go-to. A bit of a missed opportunity for customization, if you ask me.

Just hit the beach and soak up some rays! Spend enough time out in the sun, and you'll notice your character's skin getting a tan. It's the only way to change your skin color in New Leaf, so get your virtual sunscreen ready.

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
