First up, you gotta know that Steam sets your currency based on the country your account is tied to. Want to change the currency? You'll need to update your store country setting. Just head over to your Steam Account Details and under the "Store and Purchase History" section, click on "Update Store Country". Then, follow the prompts to update your location and bam, new currency! But remember, you gotta actually be in the country you're switching to, because Steam checks your IP and might ask for payment info to confirm.

Changing your Steam currency isn't really something you do on a whim. It requires you to actually move to a different country or at least be there temporarily. Once you're in the new country, Steam should allow you to change your store country and currency to match your current location. But don't try to game the system; Valve's pretty good at sniffing out any funny business.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
