Changing the Steam Deck startup screen is easier than you think! Dive into the Steam Deck settings, look for the 'Startup Settings' option, and you'll find a way to customize the startup screen. You can choose from the default options or upload a custom image that fits the screen resolution. Make sure your custom image is cool and represents you, because you'll be seeing it a lot!

Changed mine last week! It's super easy. Just go to the settings, find 'Startup Settings', and you鈥檒l see options to change the screen. I went with a custom image of my favorite game character. Looks amazing every time I power it up!

Honestly, I wouldn't mess with the startup screen. The default is pretty sleek, and changing it might mess up the aesthetic Valve intended. But if you must, just follow the settings path and cross your fingers it looks as cool as you imagine.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
